How It Works
Xtag Medical’s Asset Tagging system allows clinical staff to quickly locate equipment using an intuitive, user-friendly software interface. Staff can search for specific assets in real time and instantly view their location within the hospital.
The system also includes a Managed Transfer feature, which allows staff to securely move assets between wards when necessary. If an asset needs to leave a designated area, the system requires authorization and tracks the transfer to prevent loss or theft. If an unauthorized movement occurs, the system immediately alerts staff to take action, ensuring that equipment remains secure at all times.

The difference between Active UHF and Wi-Fi
Choosing the right technology is crucial for ensuring the highest level of infant security. Xtag Medical’s Active UHF technology operates on a dedicated, highly secure standalone network, eliminating reliance on the hospital’s Wi-Fi. This prevents risks associated with signal interference, network latency, and potential Wi-Fi outages, which could put infants at risk.
Our systems automatically generate data reports which can be viewed on our Touchscreen Clients or sent to you on a daily, weekly or monthly basis for your evaluation.
Monitor the type of alarm events occurring in your hospital over a set period of time.
Monitor the number of tagged babies/assets to ensure staff are using the system correctly.
Check which staff members have used the system and the number of users and administrators.
Our maintenance packages are tailored to meet the unique needs of your healthcare facility, ensuring the longevity, performance and efficiency of your Xtag Medical system.
Bi-annual service visits to perform detailed system checks and optimisations.
Regular software updates to ensure your systems are equipped with the latest features.
